Anak Anak Wayang
This is the youngest performing group in our company, our children performers!
Despite their tender age between 5-14 years, they have performed in the biggest stages including
the APEC summit, Peranakan Conventions in Singapore, Malacca and Penang, Chingay 2006 and 2010,
National Day 2009 and the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
Their talent to perform and cute looks will charm any audience as they do their fun repertoire of Peranakan songs
all dressed in their baju panjangs, baju kebayas and their baju lok chuans!

 
 
The Main Wayang Singers
The most experienced group of performers who has been engaged for many corporate events
and has also represented Singapore and the culture in promotional events in South Korea, Japan, Penang and Malacca.
With a wide range of repertoire from Peranakan songs to golden oldies, this group has songs for every occasion.
Fun and humour is an important element in the performances making it lively and entertaining for all.
With their tight vocal harmony and graceful dance moves, this group brings a fresh dimension to singing performances.
 
The Main Wayang Rhapsody Choir
The Main Wayang Company's resident choir is 20 strong providing melodious Peranakan songs and golden oldies.
Dressed in colouful kebayas and batiks, they bring life to any event with their songs and passion for the Peranakan culture.
Their elegance and charm provide a pleasant atmosphere that warms everyone's hearts.
 
 
Grand Baba Wedding
The Baba Wedding is re-enacted in its full pomp and ceremony from the preparation of the wedding,
the grand entry of the groom to the house of the bride, the ceremony between the relatives of both families,
the meeting of the bride and groom for the first time followed by the traditional tea ceremony.
Certainly a performance with grand proportions and an eye-opener to local and foreign audiences.

Peranakan Musicals
To date 'The Main Wayang Company has produced 4 Peranakan musicals including 'Bibiks Go Broadway!',
'Bibiks in Parliament', 'Baba Nyonya Mari-Go-Round' and 'Siapa Baba?'
These big musical productions include original scripts and music, show productions, costumes, choreography and direction.
